Shahed Attack Near Dnipro: Russians Miss City Hall by Mere Inches

On the night of April 16, Russian forces initiated a large-scale assault on Dnipro employing Shahed drones. According to Mayor Borys Filatov, this onslaught caused significant damage to numerous structures, with one drone barely missing the city hall.

“They have once again destroyed a bunch of civilian buildings and hit the city hall with a Shahed. Yes, yes. The city hall. But they missed. The impact was 100 meters away, right next to the monument to Pol.” This was stated in the message.

Filatov additionally mentioned that Russian forces had demolished a women’s apparel shop belonging to his spouse.

“They also demolished my wife’s store. I take responsibility in stating that there were no NATO soldiers present, only women’s apparel,” he mentioned additionally.


Aftermath of Russian attack on Dnipro

In the drone assault on Dnipro, over ten blasts were reported. The attack led to several fires, caused damage to residential areas, schools, and cultural sites, and resulted in the destruction of vehicles.

At least two people were killed, and many others were injured.
