Safed Violinist Vanishes: Jerusalem Musician Missing in Historic Town

The Israeli police are currently looking for Tzipora Alexander, a 36-year-old violinist from Jerusalem, who
disappeared
over a week ago after being last seen in the northern city of Safed.

Law enforcement authorities and her relatives state that communication with Alexander ceased on Thursday, April 10, and she hasn’t been seen since then.

The case has sparked increasing worry amongst both officials and citizens since the vanishing seems to have happened suddenly with no apparent reason. Law enforcement characterizes the circumstance as a disappearance lacking any clues, whereas Alexander’s close associates mention she disappeared “like she was engulfed by the Earth.”

This recent event mirrors an unsolved situation from about one year prior, where a young girl named Haymanot Kasau disappeared from the absorption center.
