Donald Trump is
regarded as a “dream come true for Soviet leaders” because of his approach to Ukraine
Since assuming his position, as noted by a well-known Russian analyst, the individual penned an article in the esteemed Russian periodical Argumenty I Fakty. In this piece, they commended the U.S. President for successfully “creating division” between the United States and “the portion of NATO located in Europe.”
The analysis was taken up and spread by BBC Russia’s head, Steven Rosenberg.

In the meantime, the U.S. has adopted a more stringent approach toward Ukraine, temporarily holding back military aid and intelligence, while urging Ukrainian authorities to find a resolution for the conflict—going so far as to imply they may need to cede some territories seized during the war.

Trump’s rhetoric often mirrors Moscow’s, casting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as a “dictator” and blaming Ukraine for igniting the conflict.
The document pointed out a recent meeting between U.S. diplomat Steve Witkoff and Vladimir Putin as further proof of aligning objectives between their countries.

And Volodymyr Zelensky, whose condition seemed to be improving, has taken a turn for the worse, characterized by increased bickering and mutual criticism.
Moreover, an unforeseen partnership emerges with Moscow and the Trump administration finding common ground in opposing critics of Trump, spanning across both the US and European territories.
Moskovsky Komsomolets, a daily newspaper, took a more drastic stance by accusing the US President of “destroying the world created by American liberals.”
In a different article, Russian senator Alexei Pushkov wrote: “None of the actions Trump has undertaken pose an immediate threat to Russia’s interests.”
He further asserted optimistic resilience stating, “I don’t think that we will perish under the rubble of the old world order that is collapsing, quite the opposite.”
Even though Donald Trump pledged during his election campaign to end the conflict in Ukraine on his hypothetical second-term inaugural day, many doubt whether this can be achieved realistically within any specific timeline. A significant number argue that curtailing Ukraine’s ability to continue fighting would require the U.S. to reduce its extensive military and economic backing, considering how dependent Ukraine currently is on this support from America.
Andrew Fox, who is both an academic and a former Parachute Regiment officer, suggests that the present actions of the U.S. government are advantageous for Russia, consequently increasing the dangers on the world stage.
He stated, “Leaving Ukraine, which is currently at war following Russian invasion and experiencing widespread civilian atrocities, and continuing to battle against allies like Iran and China despite receiving only minimal weapons support to sustain their resistance—how can Trump side with Russia? This stance could potentially make conflicts in various regions across Eastern Europe and Asia much more probable.”
