U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated on Friday that the Trump administration could halt its attempts to secure a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine unless considerable headway is made shortly. Despite working towards resolving the conflict for several months, the White House has thus far been unable to find an effective resolution.

Rubio stated that the forthcoming meeting in London next week will be pivotal in determining whether the United States should maintain its involvement.
Rubio informed journalists that they have to assess if their present aim still stands as a achievable target.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has consistently warned global leaders about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s intentions to expand Russian territory and undermine Western military alliances. In an interview, Zelenskyy remarked that Russia considers Ukraine to be under its influence, adding that he believes this aggressive stance could extend throughout Europe.
During his recent interview with “60 Minutes,” Zelenskyy expressed worries over Putin’s intentions, stating that Putin seeks to rebuild the Russian empire by retaking areas now safeguarded by NATO.
Officials announced a nearly complete deal between the U.S. and Ukraine that will allow American access to Ukraine’s substantial mineral reserves, which remains connected to President Trump’s peace initiatives.
