Russian Missile Strike in Khakiv: Death Toll Rises Once More

The number of individuals hurt due to Russia’s missile attack on Kharkiv on April 18 has increased to 112. The mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, reported via his Telegram channel that some of those affected include children.

“Once more, the count of wounded individuals has gone up. As of now, we have 112 casualties,” Terekhov stated.

Moreover, as stated by the mayor, an additional 12-year-old boy was admitted to the hospital following the terrorist attack in Kharkiv earlier today. This brings the total number of affected children up to nine.


Attack on Kharkiv on Easter Thursday

Russian troops launched an attack on Kharkiv using ballistic missiles early today, April 18.

The missiles hit a residential area in the Osnovianskyi district, resulting in numerous civilian casualties, including children. Previously, reports indicated that 103 people had been wounded.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with Iskander cruise missiles.

Lately, the Russian military has been ramping up its use of ballistic missiles to target urban areas. Additionally, they have been employing cluster bombs, resulting in a significant number of civilians being wounded or killed.

On April 13, Russia launched an attack on Sumy using two ballistic missiles, which led to 35 fatalities.
