Rep. Dan Meuser (R-PA) implied that Gov. Josh Shapiro’s (D-PA) disagreement with President Donald Trump might be responsible following an arson attack on Shapiro’s residence.
During a Thursday interview with Newsmax, Meuser addressed the issue as follows:

Initially, they claimed that inflammatory language wasn’t to blame but instead put the responsibility on Shapiro.
“Let’s look at the bigger picture,” he said. “When you have a Tesla car bomb set outside of Trump hotel and blows up virtually and there’s no denouncing right from the left… So the things like that also just add to this.”

that he might contest Shapiro for the gubernatorial position in 2026. The assault

by local authorities.
