TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee 14-year-old was arrested Wednesday after bringing multiple weapons to Cobb Middle School’s campus, according to a press release from the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.
Between classes, the eighth grader was “observed cutting another student’s backpack with an object as being similar in size to a pencil” on Wednesday, according to the LCSO press release.
The event led the school personnel to inspect the student’s backpack, inside which they discovered a small stun gun and a crafting set containing “an array of razors in different shapes and sizes, as well as holders meant for these blades,” according to the police report.
The student informed law enforcement that he obtained the weapons from his parents.
