NAF Strikes Terrorist Enclaves in Sambisa and Southern Tumbusu

The Nigerian Air Force, NAF, says its personnel, under the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI, OPHK, on April 15, 2025, executed 2 highly successful air interdiction missions, targeting terrorist strongholds in Borno State’s Sambisa general area and the Southern Tumbuns.

The Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, who serves as the Director of Public Relations and Information at the Nigerian Air Force headquarters, stated in an official release that the initial attack happened around 5:30 a.m. in Kollaram, which is recognized as a key insurgent base.

Reports from intelligence agencies, backed by security camera recordings, verified the existence of key terrorist leaders in the region.

Multiple buildings, including some fitted with solar panels, were pinpointed as operational centers for terrorists.

The Nigerian Air Force deployed its resources for a targeted attack at the site, resulting in the neutralization of multiple combatants and the incapacitation of crucial facilities.

Around 3:55 pm, another precise attack took place in Arra, within the Sambisa region. Prior intelligence from surveillance and reconnaissance operations had identified groups of militants, which was further validated through live video feeds confirming their substantial numbers. Guided weapons were used during this operation, leading to the successful obliteration of these targets and hampering the terrorist organization’s functional abilities.

The consecutive operations form an ongoing aerial effort aimed at weakening terrorist capacities, breaking down their leadership networks, and removing safe havens throughout Nigeria.

The Nigerian Air Force stays dedicated to making sure that nowhere inside the nation provides a sanctuary for terrorists.

The NAF targets multiple terrorist hideouts in Sambisa, Southern Tumbubuzu.
