President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine responded to the Russian drone strike on Dnipro that occurred during the night of April 17. According to an update from Zelenskyy’s verified Telegram channel, the Ukrainian president is calling for increased pressure on Russia to halt the conflict.
The Ukrainian President highlighted that the attack carried out by Russian drones targeted regular residences and civilian facilities. Currently, cleanup operations involving remnants of the strike continue in Dnipro. Fifteen individuals are still receiving treatment at medical centers. Altogether,

Zelenskyy added that overnight Russia also attacked Odesa with drones, where three people were injured. Houses, a pharmacy, and a church were damaged. Air bomb strikes were recorded in the Sumy region during the night, and Russian ballistic missiles hit the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.

Drone attack on Dnipro
On the night of April 17, Russian occupying forces carried out a large-scale drone assault on Dnipro. According to Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, three individuals lost their lives due to the attack by Russian troops. The injury toll has now climbed to 31, including five children who sustained injuries.
A minimum of 15 structures sustained damage. These included residences for students, facilities belonging to an academic entity, as well as premises of a food business. Nearly one and a half dozen cars also suffered damages.
